I wanted to draw the Earth Warden in a less static pose, so I redrew it while also refining the piece overall.

Zoomed in, removed the arch, wrapped the tail around the statue, and pushed the trees more into the background. This was my starting point to adding color and refining the piece overall!

Earth Warden

A bit of a redo of an older concept of mine. This time, I wanted a bit of a story in the illustration. The general idea is that offerings were left at the statue/shrine of this earth-protecting deity to save the forest from destruction, and to bring life back to it as well. The deity was summoned and the forest around it is protected and beginning to regrow.

I hope you enjoy this piece, I've been working on it for a long time and I'm so happy that it's ready to share with you lovely folks!
